A Masterpiece of Precision & Protection

Some talismans are born through fluid intuition, others through careful structure and balance. Ouro Verde, an 84.95-carat masterpiece, was the most technically complex piece I have ever created. Unlike many of my flowing, organic designs, this talisman demanded meticulous measurement, symmetry, and precision, challenging me to push the boundaries of my craft as a wire artist.

This piece was not only about securing and stabilizing the crystal, but about honoring its raw power and depth. The phantoms within the quartz had to remain fully visible, requiring a design that was both structurally sound and aesthetically harmonious.

💎 The Birth of Ouro Verde – Strength & Symmetry

Without further ado, I present…

✨ Ouro Verde ✨

This one holds a special place in my heart, as well as on my path as a wire artist.

This is, without question, the most technical and logistically challenging piece I’ve made. This design was all about measurement, symmetry, and technicality, and very minimally about flow.

The crystal itself weighs a massive 84.95 carats and is 20mm deep, so I had to figure out how to:

🔹 Artistically display its natural beauty

🔹 Maintain full visibility of its stunning phantom inclusions

I began by forming the two-frame structure, carefully connecting them, then found a tutorial that almost exactly mirrored the design I was already building—a moment of synchronicity that made the final logistics easier to refine.

Although I drew guidance from that technical foundation, this piece is still fully infused with my heart and creative spirit.

Every angle of this piece offers beauty. I used every piece of my canvas to bring it to life.
